Brandelhowe is a two bedroom ground floor apartment, with direct street access. Brandelhowe has allocated parking and offers luxurious contemporary accommodation in a classic lakeland building.

Property Details

Brandelhowe has been recently restored and mixes the old and new perfectly by retaining some original features, such as the old range and window seat in the lounge, and exposed stonework.

It offers one Super King bedrooms and one double bedroom, both ensuite with bespoke headboards and bedside tables. The first double has a full ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over , wardrobe and dressing table. The second double bedroom has a fully tiled ensuite shower room, wardrobe and dressing table.

The open plan living space and kitchen has everything you need for a holiday with all new appliances, including electric oven and hob, integrated fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It has a bespoke panelled dining area with farmhouse table, bench seating and two dining chairs. There is a separate utility space with a washer dryer.

Brand new central heating, contemporary sofas, a Smart TV, ambient lighting and broadband make this a fantastic base any time of the year. The lounge offers a wonderful space to relax and includes a lovely window seat to watch the world go by.

Brandelhowe sleeps 4 people. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.

The accommodation includes towels and a hair dryer for guests use. Free wi-fi is also available.

Brandelhowe has one allocated parking space.

We had a lovely stay in this fantastic apartment. Super modern and comfortable and very dog friendly. 5 mins by car to Keswick or 15 mins walking yet so quiet and peaceful. Aimee was wonderful to deal with – very responsive and helpful. We had a fantastic time!

This was our second time at Derwent House, this time staying in Brandelhowe apartment with friends. Again, a very impressive apartment; stylish, comfortable and with everything you need for a relaxing break. It is a lovely space, with beautiful decor and fantastic kitchen and bathrooms. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the apartment as it was so nice. Brandelhowe is in a fantastic quiet location, with a lovely 10 minute country walk into the bustle of Keswick, where there is just so much to do and see. There are loads of fantastic eating places, a great market and lots of outdoor activities. Cannot wait to come back!

Beautifully finished, clean, with excellent service. Issues and questions were dealt with immediately. Hob required a PhD to operate and would have appreciated a dish drainer and decent sized cereal bowls, but that is the extent of our criticism. Otherwise, I thoroughly recommend.

Great accommodation, walking distance to Keswick and a tearoom just around the corner. Also greatly appreciated the super comfy sofas and beds! Could possibly benefit from having different blinds on the main living area window and the bedroom as lot of passing footfall.

Unfortunately due to a family emergency our stay at Brandelhowe only lasted around 10 hours instead of 1 week therefore we didn’t have the chance make the most of the accommodation. The 1 night in the bed was very comfy but other than that no other facilities were used. Would have been good to have the option to have the booking dates moved but at such short notice can understand why this wasn’t offered. Will hopefully return some day.

We liked the apartment and its layout and catered perfectly for our needs. Clean and tidy. The only criticism would be that it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack of tea, coffee pods and something for our dog like we’ve had in other places in the past.

Very nice large lounge with kitchen, cosy dining area and a sofa corner. The lodging was perfect and absolutely clean. Car park in the immediate vicinity. Very quiet side street. Hikes and walks could be undertaken directly from the accomodation. Very good shopping facilities in Keswick

We really enjoyed our first stay with you. Apartment was very well equipped, beds very comfortable and excellent showers. We would definitely consider booking with you again. One minor point is that we would prefer to have larger towels and extra ones too for a 5 day stay. Thank you.

Amazing stay! The apartment has literally EVERYTHING you may possibly need – especially in the kitchen! And the TV had Netflix easily available which was great after a long days walk. The place was done to a very high standard and it was impeccable when we arrived. We would definitely stay again!
