Lovely cottage, excellent location, very well equipped. Parking space is a bonus. Would definitely stay again!

I booked this for my 86 year old dad & my husband to have a few days in Keswick. They have both said how impressed they were with the apartment for its contents and for its close location to Keswick Town Centre. My dad did say a handrail in the shower would be very helpful. Lift was also very helpful for my dad

This is our 4th stay in one of Keswick Holiday Homes apartments in this complex and as usual it did not disappoint. The apartment is lovely. Well equipped and furnished. The views from this one are not quite as good as some of the others, but we could see Robinson, so we tackled that hill one day and bagged Hindscarth at the same time. A few other adventures were walking to Thelkeld via Latrigg, returning via the old railway line, and walking to Barrow, returning via Lingholm Kitchens for a coffee and cake. We went to Penrith and Pooley Bridge one day, and spent lots of time pottering around Keswick. An evening in the Theatre by the Lake was lovely, where we saw The Farmers Wife. The apartment has every that you need, although we couldn’t find a grater. The bed is comfortable and the showers are good. The buildings around here all seem to suffer from low water pressure so the shower is never going to be too powerful. The sofa is actually high backed for a change. Brilliant. So much more comfortable then the usual low backed furniture that is usually supplied. The TV has access to streaming channels, provided you sign in, and there is a nice stereo system. We will certainly add this to our list of potential returns.

Great home in central location. We were 3 generations of adults, and had a great stay at Ratcliffe Place. The house was clean, comfortable,, and had all that we needed. The communication from Aimee was excellent too. We love staying in this part of town, which is quiet but a stones throw from the lake, fells, or shops. Parking out front is hit and miss, but you’ll usually find a space round the corner if not.

Lovely Cottage. Stayed with my Mum for 3 nights – our second visit to this cottage, and we hope there will be more. It’s lovely and comfortable, really well equipped, spotless, and with amazingly comfy beds. My only suggestion would be that the kitchen is so well equipped that there’s very little cupboard space for food/stuff you’ve brought with you – there’s a shelf/display area which I think was a cupboard on our previous visit, and tbh that would be more useful. There was a leak from the bath tap, which I reported, and that was being sorted within half an hour of our leaving (I know because I had to go back for something we’d forgotten and surprised a plumber in the bathroom!). Lovely cottage with excellent management.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was very spacious, clean and well equipped, a perfect base for a walking trip! Parking was easy, if we couldn’t park in front of the property, there were always spaces on nearby streets. It is a fabulously located home, in walking distance of several walks, and only a short car journey away from larger ones. There were also lots of helpful restaurant recommendations left by the host, which was very useful. Only thing to be aware of is the staircase up to the top bedroom is very steep/narrow but this was fine with us. Thank you again for a lovely stay, would definitely recommend and return to in the future.
