This delightful ground floor apartment is a couple of minutes level walk from the shopping area and within easy walking distance of Derwentwater. It has lovely open views looking out to Cat Bells and beyond. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with full gas central heating & double glazing.

Property Details

The front door leads onto a spacious hall with coat hooks and shoe storage. The kitchen has an excellent range of well-equipped units and utensils, a refrigerator with freezer section, washing machine with tumble drier, dishwasher, a microwave, gas hob, electric oven and extractor fan.

The lounge/dining room is a very comfortable room with two sofas, a stylish oak dining table and chairs, flat screen TV, DVD and radio. There is a substantial library of Lake District books and guides and there are lovely views from the front window.

Bedrooms consist of a large double with en–suite shower, shaver point, basin, toilet and a spacious twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have wooden beds and spacious built in wardrobes. All beds have duvets and linen and towels are provided.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet, hand basin and shaver point.

A travel cot and high chair can also be provided on request.

We stayed for 7 nights at Tigg’s Place, Keswick from 18th – 25th November, 2025 and where we’ve stayed previously. A very comfortable apartment and a great location which is ideal for the town centre; local bus station; shops etc., The weather was very cold and snow was on the mountains which was like a winter wonderland – we happily walked everyday around Derwentwater; Grasmere; Ambleside etc. We’ve been booking holidays with Aimee since she first began her new career and we find her to have a very friendly and helpful manner – thankyou Aimee xx We have already booked to return to Tigg’s Place for 7 nights from 21st March, 2026 and can’t wait to return.

Another lovely week staying in 5 Howrah’s Court. Perfect location for walking into Keswick and lots of walks straight from cottage. Local walking books in cottage. Spotlessly clean. Well equpped. Quiet location. Beautiful view over Catbells. We have stayed in many cottages in Keswick and this is by far the best.

We book with Keswick Holiday homes as it is easy and reliable, cottages are always clean and as advertised and reasonably priced. We will be returning next year.
