9 Greta Grove House is a beautiful, spacious two-bedroom second floor apartment set in peaceful communal grounds only a short walk from Keswick town centre, with allocated parking. It has delightful views from the lounge and master bedroom and has a great central location, ideal for fell walks straight from the door.

Property Details

There is a secure external entrance with entry answer phone. The front door leads to a spacious hallway with store cupboard, coat hooks and shoe storage.

The Living/dining room is large, airy and bright and looks out over Keswick towards Walla Crag, Bleaberry fell and to Causey Pike and towards Borrowdale. It is tastefully furnished with a comfortable three piece suite, beautiful oak furniture, electric fire, 26″ digital TV and DVD player. There is a well stocked library of guidebooks and maps. It also has dedicated dining space with a good size dining table and four chairs. Free w-fi is available.

The kitchen has an excellent range of utensils and integrated equipment; a refrigerator, freezer, washer dryer, electric oven and hob, microwave, and dishwasher. Several of the cupboards have space saving pull down shelves for ease of access.

The master bedroom is large with a king size bed and extensive built in wardrobes and dressing table and ensuite shower, toilet and wash hand basin with shaver point. It has plenty of light with two windows and a ceiling velux allowing star gazing from the comfort of your bed!

The second twin bedroom is also a generous size with built in wardobes and plenty of space to move around. All beds have high quality duvets and linen. Towels and a hairdryer are provided.

The main family bathroom has a bath with mains shower over, toilet, wash hand basin, towel rail and shaver point.

The apartment is best suited to children over 8 years old.

The apartment has a dedicated parking space in the Greta Grove House car park.

This is our 4th stay in one of Keswick Holiday Homes apartments in this complex and as usual it did not disappoint. The apartment is lovely. Well equipped and furnished. The views from this one are not quite as good as some of the others, but we could see Robinson, so we tackled that hill one day and bagged Hindscarth at the same time. A few other adventures were walking to Thelkeld via Latrigg, returning via the old railway line, and walking to Barrow, returning via Lingholm Kitchens for a coffee and cake. We went to Penrith and Pooley Bridge one day, and spent lots of time pottering around Keswick. An evening in the Theatre by the Lake was lovely, where we saw The Farmers Wife. The apartment has every that you need, although we couldn’t find a grater. The bed is comfortable and the showers are good. The buildings around here all seem to suffer from low water pressure so the shower is never going to be too powerful. The sofa is actually high backed for a change. Brilliant. So much more comfortable then the usual low backed furniture that is usually supplied. The TV has access to streaming channels, provided you sign in, and there is a nice stereo system. We will certainly add this to our list of potential returns.

Wonderful holiday. This is our 2nd time at No.9 and it was just as good as the first time we visited. The flat is so well kept that nothing had changed. It has a lovely feel to it and is in the perfect location for the town centre and exploring the surrounding area. Would definitely come back again!

We recently returned from a week in no. 9 Greta Grove. It was our second visit this year to the same apartment and we hope to return again soon. We have been visiting Keswick for many years, staying in rental apartments and cottages, and none compares with this one in terms of cleanliness and general presentation. Everything has been considered, even the provision of fresh flowers and milk! The quiet location is excellent and very convenient for the supermarket. Keswick Holiday Homes and cleaning staff deserve massive congratulations for setting such a high standard. Our future visits to Keswick, shall certainly be booked with Keswick Holiday Homes.

We have been to this holiday let several times now and will probably return. We did have a problem with the ensuite shower losing pressure if the dishwasher or the main bathroom was being used at the same time.
