7 Greta Grove House is a lovely, spacious two-bedroom second floor apartment in a quiet resident area. Greta Grove House is a short walk from Keswick town centre, with allocated parking.

Property Details

There is a secure external entrance with entry answer phone. The front door leads to a spacious hallway with store cupboard, coat hooks and shoe storage.

The Living room is a great size with two arm chairs, and a sofa, and looks out over the River Greta and has wonderful views of Latrigg, Skiddaw and Dodd. It has a fireplace with electric fire and TV.

The kitchen has been recently installed and is beautifully modern and has an excellent range of utensils and integrated equipment; a refrigerator, freezer, washer dryer, electric oven and hob, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a dining table to seat four.

The large master bedroom has a king size bed and extensive built in wardrobes and dressing table with view out towards Keswick and Walla Crag in the distance.

The second twin bedroom is also a generous size and has one wardobe and plenty of space to move around. All beds have high quality duvets and linen.

The family bathroom has a bath with mains shower over, toilet, wash hand basin and towel rail.

Towels and a hairdryer are provided and a cot and high chair are available on request.

The apartment has full gas central heating and constant hot water supply from a combi boiler. There is free Wi-fi available for guests’ use.

We enjoyed our stay in 7 Greta Grove House. The apartment is bright, welcoming and clean. The kitchen is modern and well equipped for self catering. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds. The shower in the bathroom is not very powerful but has plenty of hot water. As other guests have remarked, quality towels are provided. The living room has great views out of the window as well as on the smart tv! Plenty of space for 4 adults to sit but the couches/chairs are a little tired. A parking space is allocated which for regular visitors to Keswick will know is worth its weight in gold! Overall, a great location and lovely apartment and we’d recommend to other family/friend groups.

We were extremely pleased with the apartment, it’s scrupulously clean, very cozy and well appointed. The owners/housekeeper had even gone to the trouble of putting up a Christmas tree for us. The building itself, including the entrance area and stairway are well looked after and cared for. The location was ideal, right in the middle of Keswick and a parking space was a bonus. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful apartment- bright, cosy with a fantastic view of the river and the mountains. It’s very centrally located and the supermarket is right next door. Nevertheless, it is in a totally quiet location and I very much enjoyed listening to the many birds. We will definitely be back!

This is a superb clean and comfortable property which was perfect for our week visiting favourite haunts in The Lake District. The property was immaculately clean and had all the facilities to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The views from the windows were lovely, helped by this being one of the best weeks weatherwise that we have spent in The Lakes, during 40+ years of visiting. Previously we had a touring caravan, recently sold. Less than 3 minutes’ walk to Booths supermarket and 8 minutes to Keswick’s Information Centre in the middle of the town. We have already recommended it to friends and will definitely try to book it again for future visits.

Enjoyable stay. Great location. Stayed at Greta before but different flat. Nice touch with Xmas tree up. Only improvement…could have done with a dishcloth for the kitchen.
