Guest Book

Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what previous guests say about Brundholme House.
Nice, modern, well equipped house in Keswick We had a lovely stay in Brundholme House in May 2026. Liked the modern decor, well equipped (but needs a bread knife) kitchen, and comfortable sofas. The parking , EV charger and enclosed garden were big plusses for us. The stairs and flooring on landing and in living room is slippery though so grippy slippers needed. Pieces of carpet on stairs would be safer and some nice rugs. Other than that pretty perfect, great for local walks up Latrigg Fell for amazing views and 15 mins to town across the park (not on Google maps so would be good to put local map of attractions in the welcome pack). Keswick is beautiful, great food options and very dog friendly. Perfect lakes base.

Beautiful house and location. What a perfect place to stay. We visit Keswick regularly and have for years, this is up there with the best we’ve stayed at. Lovely house, well equipped, parking and an excellent location too. Highly recommend.

Another great stay, we never want to leave! – amazing views, fabulous facilities (including new downstairs loo! which is a great addition) near to everything, some great walks from doorstep -secure garden for dogs, we will be back again 😊- thank you

Firstly As A Mature Couple don’t think for one Moment We Would Choose to Spend our Time in Such a Lovely Place As Brundholme House To Shut the Front Door,Put the Kettle on,Then Get Cosy On The Settee Drinking Tea with our Little Pinky Finger Up in the Air Whilst Eating My Birthday Cake?.(We Did Actually Do That but only For as Long As The Cake Lasted) Otherwise We Do What Keswickians Seem To do and that’s get Up Get Your Waterproof’s On,Lace up The Hiking Boots and Enjoy the Walks. We cannot Think of a better Base to do all the Above from than Brundholme House. Location Location Location certainly Holds true as the Views Across the Road of Skiddaw Mountain are Simply Breathtaking,And that’s just from the front door,Take a walk up the Stairs to the First Floor Conservatory and the outdoor Walk Round Balcony where the Views just get even better also Covering the Gorgeous Wooded Rear Garden where Rabbits can be seen daily Running around as well as a Miriad of Birds Utilising the Bird Feeders in The Garden Tree. The Beds Are Comfy,The Shower is Superb and The Bath when filled is like a Mini Hot Tub as it’s huge.Amenities are well Covered with an easy to use Washing Machine and a Great Tumble dryer for Cleaning up after the Long Walks in the Rain. Brundholme House has everything you need and More for Even 6 People But we as a Couple just love the Space provided for the Two of us. Keswick centre is a 20minutes Walk away and we can also recommend the Pub Just down the Road Called The Pheasant Inn (Turn Left out of the Front Door and it’s 10minutes Walk where we Had my Birthday Meal and the Food Is Superb) To Sum Up: We Loved our Stay that much we Rebooked For a Fortnight For Both Our Birthdays in Feb 2027 whilst there with Aimee the Wonderful Host and Manager of this great Property. It’s an Easy 10/10 From Us and We were Sad To Leave but We will be Back. Neil & Sharon Feb 2026

We have had another lovely stay in Keswick. The properties are always outstanding and definitely value for money.

Second time staying here and brought more family who were staying around Keswick in other cottages – as last time we had an amazing time, the house had everything we needed and more. It was a great base, hardly used the car, great walks from the doorstep, and so close to the park for kids and dogs to run about and a great shortcut through to Keswick centre – We hope to be back next year 😊
Sally
Brundholme House is a comfortable, well-equipped holiday home, perfectly situated for easy access to Keswick town centre. Keswick Holiday Homes were very responsive in all communications, and I would book with them again.

We found Brundholme House to be spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable holiday. Aimee was extremely efficient in sorting out a minor problem we had on arrival. Just a couple of points to make: guests should remember their slippers as some of the floors are slippery in just socks and advice on the heating system would be helpful. Unfortunately the weather turned chilly during our last two days and we found the upstairs cold in the evening and first thing in the morning; I don’t think the central heating had been switched on. Also the towel rail in the bathroom was always cold. Overall we had a good holiday and we would certainly consider staying at Brundholme House again.

House was great. Spacious and really well equipped. Never seen to many plates and glasses in a holiday home. Shame the downstairs extension didn’t include at least a toilet or better still a shower. Also building work next door was a shame but wasn’t too noisy. Overall I would recommend this accommodation.
Alison
We stayed at Brundholme House. The house was in a great location for exploring Keswick and the surrounding area. There was no need to use the car. The house was spacious and well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The view of Skiddaw and Latrigg from the front of the property was amazing. Aimee from Keswick Holiday Homes was very helpful. We will definitely stay at this property again if possible.

The accommodation was perfect, in a great location and had everything we needed. The communication from Aimee was excellent. We hope to return very soon.
Ruth
We had a lovely stay – house had everything we needed and was in a great location for access to Keswick and the fells. An issue with the boiler was sorted promptly with great communication throughout. Would highly recommend :)
Nick
We had just had the most amazing stay, the house had everything we could have wished for, the beds and bedding were very comfortable, the kitchen was so well equipped, the garden was great for kids, dogs and bikes to be kept safe in, we hardly used the cars as the house was so close to everything and Fitz Park was just behind us – there were so many lovely thoughtful touches in the house and the weather was absolutely fantastic – we will definitely stay again – (none of us wanted to go home 😊)
Sally
We really enjoyed our stay, the house was spacious and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. The views were amazing from the bedroom window. The only thing we missed was a coffee pod machine as my hubby likes an expresso in the morning.
Ann
We enjoyed our visit. The accommodation has been very well renovated to a high standard. Although we didn’t do them, there appeared to be a lot of nice walks on your doorstep. There were lots of walkers and cyclists around. Keswick is a lovely place to visit and it’s only a 10 mins walk from here.
Neil
Perfect location, nice views and very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like oil, condiments, cling film, Netflix etc, a dog proof enclosed garden too, it had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
Andrew
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property has just been totally refurbished and everything was great. The location is good also, as is right by the start of the Latrigg walk and also has a path near (accessible from less than 100m away on Brundholme road) which takes you through Fitz park for an easy, traffic free walk into town. The host was also very good and responsive. We’d be keen to stay here again!
