Crofts Cottage, Keswick is a welcoming two-bedroom holiday cottage set over three floors, ideally located within easy walking distance of Keswick town centre. Sleeping up to four guests, it provides a comfortable and characterful base for couples, friends or families with older children looking to explore Keswick and the surrounding Lake District.
On the ground floor, the cosy living room is a lovely place to relax after a day on the fells, with comfortable seating and a traditional feature fireplace. Please note that the log burner/fire is decorative only and must not be used. The adjoining kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals during your stay and includes a small dining area where guests can enjoy breakfast or plan the day’s adventures.
The first floor has a spacious bedroom furnished with a king-size bed, along with the property’s family bathroom, which includes a bath with a shower over it.
A second staircase leads to the top floor, where you will find the twin bedroom with two single beds. This light and characterful room sits beneath the cottage’s sloping roof and offers lovely views towards the surrounding fells. Guests should be aware that the stairs leading to the top-floor twin bedroom are very steep. For this reason, Crofts Cottage is not suitable for children under 13 years old or for anyone who may have difficulty using steep stairs.
Outside, guests have access to a shared rear yard. Parking is available on the surrounding streets on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no private or allocated parking with the cottage.
With Keswick’s independent shops, cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs all within walking distance, there is plenty to enjoy without needing to use the car. Derwentwater, Theatre by the Lake and numerous scenic walking routes are also within easy reach. Whether you are planning energetic days in the mountains or a relaxed break exploring this lively Lake District town, Crofts Cottage offers a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
