Catbells is a second floor, two bedroom apartment in Hewetson Court just off the main street and only a minute’s walk from the heart of town and all its facilities. In a courtyard setting, this apartment is in the rear apartment block, and has lovely views from Walla Crag round to Catbells and Causey Pike.
Catbells is a second floor apartment. The front door leads to a large hallway from which all rooms lead. There is a storage cupboard with space for coats and walking boots and equipment can be stored by the front door.
The spacious lounge/diner has fell views towards Walla Crag, Causey Pike and Catbells itself. It has comfortable furniture, electric fire and digital TV/DVD. There is a good selection of guide books and maps.
The kitchen is light and well equipped with units and an excellent range of utensils and equipment; an electric hob and oven, new refrigerator, new washing machine with tumble drier and microwave.
The double bedroom has a king size bed with and good quality furniture, dressing table and double wardrobe. The twin has two 2’6” single beds and a wardrobe. All beds have duvets with excellent quality bedlinen and towels and a hair dryer are provided for guests.
There is a modern bathroom with toilet, basin and bath with electric shower over.
The property is currently undergoing an upgrade on its heating system and will have new electric heating installed during March 2021.
All fuel is inclusive and there is Wi-Fi available. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Hewetson Court is a very quiet development, just off Main Street in the heart of town. Number 22 is located on the second floor at the top of the building. It is next door to our first property in Hewetson Court, Fellview. The grounds are well kept and it has one allocated parking space. The local Co-op store is next door and Booths Supermarket is a two minute walk away. You can also be at Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake in 10 minutes.
