Yesterday we woke up to a beautiful cloud inversion over Keswick – a sure sign that Autumn will soon be upon us. Warm days and cooler evenings trap cooler air near the ground which gradually dissipates as the sun heats up the air during the morning. Its an eerie but beautiful natural phenomenon, especially when you can catch a glimpse of St Johns church steeple poking up through the clouds – a photographers dream (although apologies, I’m no David Bailey!).
They herald the changing colour of the landscape that autumn brings, turning the leaves red and gold, one of my favourite times of the year.
We still have some availability though October and November and 3 Grisedale Close has late availability for next week so please contact me if you’d like a chance to catch an inversion too…………..
