We have had a busy few weeks with bookings remaining bouyant and preparing for out latest properties to come onto the market. Following Chaucer House, we welcomed Brandelhowe to our portfolio for half term, last week. It is the first of four properties at Derwent House in Portinscale and has so far received much praise for the standard of the accommodation. The new owners have worked very hard to sympathetically restore the building and make the very best use of the space in it. Brandelhowe has two ensuite double bedrooms and a wonderful open plan living, dining and kitchen area. It retains many of the original features of the building, including an old range feature wall in the living room, exposed brickwork and a fantastic window seat. It is going to be a popular choice for our visitors and their four legged companions.
During the next few weeks, it will be joined by its sister apartments, Withesike, Victoria and Otterbield – all named after spots on the shore of Derwentwater. Watch this space for more information about these great apartments.
Despite some challenging weather in the last few days, Keswick and the surrounding fells are looking wonderful at the moment, with the Autumn colours at their best. If you are thinking of a late Autumn break then we do have some availability for 7 night stays and also shorter breaks. Here is a selection of our current availability:
