We are pleased to confirm that both 3 Grizedale Close and Lilac Cottage have retained their 4 star ratings with Visit England. The inspector was particularly impressed with the standard of cleaning at both properties which is down to our lovely team of Kath, Chris, Lesley and Claire who work their magic every week in our properties. They all take great pride in their work and go the extra mile to make sure the little things are attended to. Recently I found Chris on his hands and knees with the shower door off at one property to make sure he got into the corners and Claire is known for going back into a property with her Febreze if its been empty for a few days!!

‘Once again 3 Grizedale Close retains the Four Star Self Catering Rating. With consistent scores within the rating banding.’

‘Overall excellent standards of house keeping are observed. Flooring is thoroughly vacuumed and hard flooring buffed. Soft furnishings and bedding is freshly laundered and pressed. Sanitary ware is pristine and shining as are mirrors and hard surfaces.’

‘The very well appointed property enjoys spectacular elevated views of the local area. The property provides very comfortable accommodation within easy reach of the local amenities and tourist attractions.’

Lilac Cottage:
‘The property presents to a very high standard. With attention to detail and high and low levels dust free. Flooring is polished and well vacuumed. Furniture and hard surfaces polished to a shine. Soft furnishings are fresh and clean. Sanitary ware is buffed and chrome work gleaming. Appliances are thoroughly cleaned and free from crumbs and marks.’

‘Decor remains in very good order with carpets deep and comfy under foot. Sturdy furniture provides very good levels of storage. Efficient lighting and heating are provided. Beds are firm and supportive and dressed with coordinated linens to enhance the decor. Space is well planned to optimise ease of use.’

‘The property is very well maintained and has high standards of housekeeping. It is ideally situated within Keswick with excellent links to local walks, transport, attractions and places of interest.’
