We are delighted to share that Lilac Cottage attained a  4 Star Gold Award at its latest inspection with Visit England.  Gold Awards celebrate accommodation establishments that outperform in their category, offering exceptional quality within their star rating. The award recognises special places where hosts go the extra mile for their guests.

The assessors look at quality in all areas, especially housekeeping, service and hospitality, bedrooms and bathrooms. The assessor appreciated our new bathroom facilities and the excellent levels of cleanliness and hospitality in evidence for guests. If you haven’t visited in a while, you will see bright, fresh decor,  a new, well lit and appointed bathroom, locally sourced soaps and moisturiser for guests and good quality towels provided as standard.

We are proud of all of our proprieties, which are cleaned and maintained to a very high level. Most of our owners come to Keswick to enjoy their  properties and want to provide the same high quality experience for their guests as they expect themselves.  3 Grizedale Close also recently sailed through its 4 Star assessment and its new bathroom was also acknowledged as a great improvement for guests. It also scored 100% for cleanliness – a fantastic achievement.
