Well this week has proved that winter hasn’t finished with us yet. We have seen snow, hail, blizzards, high winds and beautiful sunshine and blue sky this week. The fells are looking spectacular in the snow and there has been lots of fun with the local children making the most of a snow covered Crow Park with their sledges. The photo above was taken by one of our owners who had a fantastic walk around Buttermere on Wednesday – getting the place to themselves – now that doesn’t happen very often. The photo below is a rare sight of a snow filled Keswick Main Street in the early morning light.

If the freezing weather is getting you down , don’t despair, it won’t last too long and seeing the mountains with their snowy caps is always a treat.
