In the run up to the festive season, I thought I’d update you on the latest news from Keswick Holiday Homes.

Derwent House, Portinscale

This week has seen the completion of the next two apartments in Derwent House, Portinscale. Withesike and Victoria are now complete and bookings are open from Friday 10th December. They both have two double bedrooms, a fantastic family bathroom and  an open plan kitchen/dining/ living space. Like their sister property, Brandelhowe, they are finished to a very high standard and the refurbishment has been very sympathetic to the original building.  Victoria  is on the second floor and first floor Withesike is also dog friendly.

In the next week or so, the final, top floor apartment, Otterbield, with its spectacular views down Derwenwater, will also open for bookings.

 

 

November Upgrades

Derwent Cottage has undergone a transformation in the last month, giving it a more contemporary feel. It has been decorated throughout with a new superking bed installed in the master bedroom and fresh bed linen throughout. The lounge furniture has been replaced, along with curtains and soft furnishings. It also has a new Smart TV, bluetooth speaker and DAB radio. Dog owners will be pleased to hear that it will remain a dog friendly property. It currently has availability for short breaks up to Christmas and to celebrate the changes, we are offering reduced prices for 3, 4 or 7 night breaks between 8th and 20th December. 3 nights now £330, 4 nights £350 and 7 nights £400 . It is also open for bookings from January 2022 onwards.

 

 

Both 16 Greta Grove House and 5 Greta Side Court have both had new sofas delivered in the last weeks too.

Christmas and New Year

Its not too late to find a great place to stay for Christmas or a  New Year break. After a cancellation, we have Chaucer’s Retreat in the wonderful Chaucer House available for up to 7 nights over Christmas, flexible start dates from 20th December  – now £675 (was £700). New Year is also available for 3, 4 or 7 nights.  Chaucer’s Retreat is a wonderful apartment for two, close to town but extremely quiet, with parking.

We also have availability in Portinscale for Christmas in Withesike, Victoria and Otterbield.
